We have both "mixed" U10 teams and girls-only U10 teams (listed on this page) at Brighton (mixed U10s are mostly boys, but girls are welcome to play in these teams if they wish).  U10 games comprise 2 x 20 minute halves and are played with a size 4 ball.  Matches are refereed by coaches, assistant coaches or parents, and results are not recorded on any ladder.

Our U10s play in leagues administered by Football Federation Victoria (formerly the Victorian Soccer Federation).  U10 Girls play on Sunday mornings on an U9-sized pitch.

Each pre-season we go through the process of formulating our teams at various age groups.  Players in our U10 Girls teams have typically graduated from our U9 teams, but wish to play with other girls rather than in mixed teams.  We also typically welcome a few new players to the club at this age level.
