We have both "mixed" U10 teams (listed on this page) and girls-only U10 teams at Brighton (mixed U10s are mostly boys, but girls are welcome to play in these teams if they wish).  Mixed U10 games comprise 2 x 20 minute halves and are played with a size 4 ball.  Matches are refereed by coaches, assistant coaches or parents, and results are not recorded on any ladder.

Our U10s play in leagues administered by Football Federation Victoria (formerly the Victorian Soccer Federation).  Mixed U10 teams teams play their games on Saturday mornings on full-sized pitches, while U10 Girls play on Sunday mornings on a smaller pitch.

Each pre-season we go through the process of formulating our teams at various age groups.  U10 players have generally graduated from our U9 teams, although we also typically welcome a few new players to the club at this age level.
