FINALLY - THE FLOODLIGHTS!
They've dug the trenches, they've laid the foundations, now finally the new floodlight towers (5 of them!) are almost ready to go up. We're just waiting for the poles themselves to be delivered - they're expected around the 21st or 22nd of June.

THREE CHAMPIONSHIPS AT BRIGHTON!
Our Men's team, re-established after a 10-year absence, wrapped up the Championship in their Division, finishing 13 points clear of the second-placed team, and scoring 94 goals in the process. Next season, the Provisional League!
From our junior ranks, congratulations to our Boys U11 Jets, who won their Division and to our Girls U13A Vampires who did likewise in theirs - this was the team that finished 4th in their division in 2005, but it was so close at the top that they missed the title by a single goal!

BAYSIDE CUP CANCELLED
The Bayside Cup has been cancelled for the 2nd year running. Unfortunately,
insurance requirements restrict the club from holding more than one special event
per year. The BSC Committee feels that our own Opening Day on Sunday 18 April is
the more important event.

SEASON 2004 OPENING DAY
This is our first public opportunity in 2004 to welcome new players and parents
and welcome back returning ones. Our key theme continues to be making Brighton
Junior Soccer Club a Club, rather than a collection of teams, and this is the
perfect medium to do that.
What is it?
On Opening Day, we aim to bring together every team from the Club to celebrate
the official start of our season. There are matches between teams in each year,
or in some cases between years. Your coach will have details of who and when you
are playing (some teams may play more than one match). Each team will be required
to provide a referee for half of each match, by agreement with the other
side.
Where and when?
Dendy Park, Sunday 18 Apr, 10:00am-4:00pm

Preference Form has been submitted to VSF to indicate which grade we believe our
U14 & U16 girls' teams should play this season.
