Trial Dates/ Development Squad Arrangements

Brighton Soccer Club (BSC) will be running trials for under 8, 9, 10 and 11 Development Squads and these Trials will be open to all 2019 BSC registered players. These trials will also be used to grade Kanga players for Under 10 & 11 as described above.

The Development Squad players will continue to play in their normal teams for Saturday competitions, but will receive an extra night's training with a professional coach on Monday evenings each week at Dendy Park. Players from these squads will be eligible to be selected to represent the club in additional competitions throughout the year. There is an additional cost of approx $300 per U9, U10 and U11 child (approx $245 per child for U8) if they are accepted into the Development Squad.

Dates and times of the trials for 2019 are set out below. Please check our website closer to the date on how to pre-register for the trials.Players will be asked to nominate their preferred position (including goalkeeper).

To keep each trial session to a manageable number of children, the Under 11s & Under 10s will be trialled in 2 separate (random) groups.  As places at the trials is limited, we ask that only those players who believe they are a genuine chance of making a Kanga team /Development squad, and will accept an offer to join them if received, register for these trials.Trial dates and times are provisional and will be confirmed nearer the time.
